Who We AreThendara is a non-profit social club whose members enjoy hiking, boating, swimming, and maintaining trails in Harriman State Park. Our 100-year-old rustic lodge offers a base camp for year-round activities and social events. Weekends are typically hosted, with all meals provided and chores divided. Participants can stay overnight in the lodge or camp out. Harriman State Park hiking trails start at our doorstep, and a short walk down the hill leads to Lake Tiorati, where we maintain a swim dock, boat dock, and a boathouse stocked with kayaks, PFDs, and other gear. |

Donate to Thendara
Club donations help Thendara build a cushion of savings for future expenses, including upkeep of our 100+-year-old lodge. Donations can also be made in honor of members, and/or designated for specific purposes. You can also make a Conservation Donation, which goes to organizations that do work we support, such as Scenic Hudson, the NY/NJ Trail Conference, and Hudson Riverkeeper.
